Introduction

Goalkeeper Handball Scout ("the App") is a goalkeeper scouting and shot-analysis application for handball. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used and stored, and your rights.

Data We Collect

The App collects only the minimum data necessary to provide its functionality:

• Account information: when you register or sign in, we collect your email address through Firebase Authentication (Google). This is used solely to identify your account and keep your data separate from other users.
• Scouting data: opponent and player names, match information, shots, saves, goals, and goalkeeper shot-zone maps that you enter while using the App.

How Data Is Stored

Your scouting data is stored in Cloud Firestore, a database operated by Google as part of Firebase. This allows your data to be securely associated with your account and available when you sign in. Your email address is managed by Firebase Authentication (also operated by Google).

Both services are subject to Google's Firebase Privacy and Security policy. You may also use the App's backup/export feature to save a copy of your own data; when you do, you control where that copy is sent.

Data We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect or access:

• Your location
• Your contacts
• Your photos or files
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Any data from other apps on your device

Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following Google Firebase services:

• Firebase Authentication: used for user sign-in only.
• Cloud Firestore: used to store your scouting data linked to your account.

Google may process limited technical data as described in their privacy policy. The App does not use any advertising services, third-party analytics, or tracking technologies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to any third party for advertising or marketing. Your scouting data is stored only in your own account. When you use the export or share features, you choose where the data goes.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account directly within the App (Settings → Delete account). Deleting your account permanently removes your email and all of your associated scouting data from our systems. You can also remove individual matches or saved players at any time from within the App.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
