Privacy Policy

Introduction

Handball Stats ("the App") is a handball match statistics tracking application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

The App collects only the minimum data necessary to provide its functionality:

• Account information: When you register or sign in, we collect your email address through Firebase Authentication (Google). This is used solely to identify your account and keep your data separate from other users.
• Match data: Team names, player names, match statistics, scores and goalkeeper shot maps that you enter during matches. This data is stored locally on your device.
• Team logo: If you upload a team logo, it is stored locally on your device only.

How Data Is Stored

All match data, player statistics, team names and logos are stored locally on your device using the browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it using the App's backup or export features.

Your email address is managed by Firebase Authentication (operated by Google) and is subject to Google's Firebase Privacy Policy.

Data We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect or access:

• Your location
• Your contacts
• Your photos or files (except team logos you explicitly upload)
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Any data from other apps on your device

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party service:

• Firebase Authentication (Google): Used for user sign-in only. Google may collect limited technical data as described in their privacy policy.

The App does not use any advertising services, analytics tools, or tracking technologies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to any third party. Your match data remains on your device. When you use the export or share features, you control where the data is sent.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your match data is stored on your device for as long as the App is installed. You can delete individual matches from the archive at any time, or clear all data by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data in Android settings.

To delete your account and associated email, you can sign out from the App and request account deletion by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
